carpet maintenance really does make a difference. Although normal
daily cleaning is an important element in carpet maintenance; on
its own; it is just not effective enough.
The service programs which are individually tailored to meet the
needs of the site are devised after a survey is carried out to show
the soiling patterns of the building. Recommended frequencies and
cleaning treatments are then devised according to these requirements.
The Carpet cleaning systems used by us are the systems that will
maintain your carpets to the highest level. No one carpet cleaning
system can be totally effective all the time and we use 4 different
systems to clean and maintain carpets, dependant on what is required
at the time.
Fully trained technicians use all our systems and all of the carpets
that we maintain are dry within an hour of cleaning.
Our cleaning solutions have been designed to give the ultimate performance
in cleaning and caring for the carpet fibre. They do not leave behind
soil attracting residues after cleaning. They do contain anti static
agents and sterilising agents which will leave your carpets germ
free after cleaning and they are all based on natural ingredients.

All too often personal computers, terminals and printers are neglected
to such a degree that it can seriously damage the performance and
reliability of these sensitive instruments. The appearance of your
computer systems will also project the best possible image if they
are regularly cleaned and maintained, which will promote more efficient
use, with less breakdowns and give a cleaner working environment
for the benefit of both staff and visitors.

Upholstery
Fabric and Leather
 The
importance of proper maintenance to upholstery cannot be overstated,
but it is one area that is very often forgotten about. SBS (Sick
Building Syndrome) is assisted greatly when the upholstered items
in the building are not cleaned and maintained properly. The most
up to date equipment and cleaning solutions are used to clean upholstery,
be they wet cleaned or dry-cleaned. We are able to use both systems,
as some fabrics should not be wet cleaned.
All upholstered items are tested prior to cleaning to find the most
suitable system that will clean the fabric best, one of 3 systems
are used dependent on the result. There are no long drying times
associated with these systems so that seating can be returned to
service without delay with less disruption of your operations.
Our superior equipment will extract up to 93% of dirt, and dust
mites that are common to all upholstery.
The application after cleaning of fabric protectors will extend
the life of the fabrics and protect against staining and lengthen
the period between maintenance cleaning. Fire retardant applications
can also be applied to upholstery and drapery items.
Leather
Leather chairs, sofa's etc., are a specialist area, only treated
leather can be effectively cleaned, testing before cleaning must
be done. We can treat untreated leather if this requirement arises.
Treated leather which is more common in commercial premises is first
cleaned using approved solutions from Connolly Bros., after cleaning
by hand the leather is fed to return it to its original condition,
leather that is not treated to regular maintenance will dry and
crack, this damage in most cases is only solved by a complete factory
refurbishment. After the leather has been fed it is gently buffed
to return it to a new condition.
Drapery
On site dry cleaning of curtains is another specialist service offered
by us, this is particularly effective where large curtains are fixed
and difficult to remove for off site cleaning. Cleaning is carried
out in situ and without the extra costs involved in removal, transport
and re hanging of curtains after cleaning at the dry cleaning shop.
There is no inconvenience in making do without the drapes whilst
they are cleaned off site.
Specialist Treatments
 Flooding
Damage Emergency Service
We are fully equipped to provide this service, from the removal
of excess water, the cleaning of carpets and upholstery, and the
drying process, through to applications of moth & rot proofing treatments
to the fabrics from rot and mildew. Relaying and re stretching as
required.
Carpet & Upholsterty Fabric Protectors
The application of fabric protectors on new or existing upholstery
after cleaning is an effective process with some major advantages
over untreated fabrics. It will protect against soiling, extend
time between cleaning cycles and reduce the unsightly stains that
may well be permanent in untreated fabric.
Pest Control Treatments
These spray-applied treatments are effective for use on crawling
or flying insects from cockroaches and carpet beetles to fleas;
it is an approved system under the UK Government Health and Safety
Pesticides Scheme.
Anti-static Treatments for Fabrics
Carpets, Upholstery and drapery can be treated with anti-static
solutions to dissipate static, a cost-effective treatment for general
static problems.
Timber Flooring Maintenance
Programmed maintenance to refresh timber flooring and restore that
new look through to scrub back and or resurfacing of flooring with
a choice of lacquered or oiled finishes.
Damage repairs to timber floors can be carried out at the same time.

Vinyl Flooring
Maintenance
 The
importance of proper maintenance to Vinyl and linoleum cannot be
overstated, but it is one area that is very often not done very
well. The most up to date equipment and cleaning solutions are used
to clean vinyl and linoleum.
Low Maintenance Vinyl Flooring & Linoleum
In normal situations this type of product requires only Dry, Damp,
or Wet mopping on a daily basis to maintain its appearance.
In areas of high traffic i.e.. shops, department stores etc., depending
on the volume of traffic, periodic maintenance other than the daily
maintenance will be required.
Machine scrubbing, wet vacuuming and dry buffing is required to
maintain the flooring in these areas.
High Maintenance Vinyl Flooring & Linoleum
These products require sealing from new and the daily maintenance
is the same as for the low maintenance products.
They also require a much higher frequency of spray/buffing applications
to maintain the seals appearance, periodically dependant on the
traffic volumes, a full strip of the old sealer and application
of new will be required.
Our use of trained technicians, special sealers and cleaning solutions
accomplish these tasks with the minimum of disruption to floor usage.
